Automobili Pininfarina Partners with Salt Lake City Motorcars for Expanded Presence in North America

SALT LAKE CITY/CAMBIANO – Italian luxury automaker, Automobili Pininfarina, has added Salt Lake City Motorcars to its list of retail partners in North America. The appointment is part of the company’s ongoing global expansion.

Salt Lake City Motorcars, led by Dealer Principal Tom Buckley, will provide a highly personalized experience to prospective and current owners of Automobili Pininfarina vehicles in Utah. With this addition, the automaker now has 11 retailers across the United States and Canada.

Last year, the first client in the USA received the pure-electric Battista hyper GT, which was followed by one of only five ultra-exclusive Battista Anniversario editions. All five were sold out after being debuted during Monterey Car Week in California in 2021.

Gösta Henning, Chief Sales Officer of Automobili Pininfarina, commented on the appointment, saying that Salt Lake City is quickly becoming a hub for technology and investment, making it a perfect fit for the Battista hyper GT. Tom Buckley, Dealer Principal of Automobili Pininfarina Salt Lake City, also expressed excitement about the appointment and the rapid technological advancements in the region.

The Battista made its dynamic debut in the Middle East in 2022 and demonstrated its record-breaking acceleration and braking figures at the Dubai Autodrome in the United Arab Emirates. The car’s acceleration and braking performance includes 0-60 mph in 1.79 seconds, 0-100 km/h in 1.86 seconds, 0-120 mph in 4.49 seconds, and 0-200 km/h in 4.75 seconds, with a range of 300 miles.

Each Battista hyper GT, the most powerful Italian car ever made, is crafted in northern Italy over more than 1,250 hours per piece. With a limited production of only 150 units worldwide, the car promises new levels of bespoke tailoring, which Automobili Pininfarina Salt Lake City will assist clients with.

In addition to the support from Automobili Pininfarina’s growing global retail network, Battista clients are also supported by advanced connected infotainment systems and the automaker’s “flying doctor,” who provides in-person technical support worldwide. This delivers the personal service and effortless luxury that clients expect.
