EVBox Group, Bridgestone EMIA and TSG Partner to Enhance EV Charging Infrastructure in Europe

Bridgestone EMIA (Bridgestone), a global leader in tires and rubber providing solutions for safe and sustainable mobility, is joining forces with EVBox Group, a leading provider of electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions, and TSG, the European leader for technical services for mobility solutions, to install 3,500 charging ports across Bridgestone’s European retail and service network in the next five years.

AMSTERDAM — Bridgestone and EVBox Group are announcing a long-term partnership to expand Europe’s EV charging infrastructure with the installation of up to 3,500 new EVBox AC and DC charging ports, powered by EVBox charging management software. The installations will take place across Bridgestone’s European retail and service network, including leading brands like Speedy and First Stop.

The five-year project, which is the latest example of Bridgestone’s support for the adoption of sustainable mobility, will begin in France and Italy before expanding into the UK, Germany, Poland, Spain, and other European countries.

Simplifying EV adoption for all drivers

Bridgestone’s new charging network will consist of regular and fast charging stations installed at strategic locations accessible to all EV drivers, including private and fleet vehicles. EVBox fast-charging stations will be installed on high-demand routes for drivers needing to get back on the road as quickly as possible. EVBox Group’s partner TSG, the European leader in technical services for mobility solutions, will take a leading role in designing, installing, and maintaining the EVBox charging infrastructure across Bridgestone’s European retail and service network.

Thanks to the partnership between Bridgestone and EVBox Group, EV drivers and fleets will get access to one of Europe’s largest charging networks through a single solution: a dedicated card or mobile app connected to EVBox charging management software. The charging network will include access to over 130,000 public charging ports and growing. With EVBox charging management software, drivers and account holders can efficiently manage charging sessions, payments, and invoicing through one centralized platform.

Promoting sustainable mobility on multiple levels

With this partnership, Bridgestone’s retail network will also offer EV drivers the opportunity to buy and install residential EV charging stations, strengthening the company’s commitment to improving the accessibility of EVs to a variety of drivers.
