Nissan Unveils the Future of Sustainable Mobility at Nissan Futures Event

YOKOHAMA, Japan – Nissan Motor Co. is showcasing the future of sustainable mobility and innovative design with its event “Nissan Futures” at its Global Headquarters Gallery in Japan. The event will take place from February 4th to March 1st.

As part of the launch, Nissan unveiled a physical concept model of its Max-Out EV convertible, which was previously shown as part of the Nissan Ambition 2030 vision announced in November 2021. The Max-Out will be on display for the duration of the event, embodying Nissan’s ambition to support greater access to sustainable and innovative mobility.

Nissan Futures will include interactive customer events, panel discussions with experts, and various displays to exhibit the company’s innovations in electrification, vehicle intelligence, power management, battery reuse, and more. Both the events and panel discussions will be available to attend virtually.

The Max-Out concept is designed to provide a sense of openness while offering a dynamic driving experience. The two-seater convertible embodies Nissan’s innovation to develop advanced and striking vehicles that benefit both individuals and society.

Guests can gain insights into it’s decade-long initiatives in Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) and battery reuse through two expert panel discussions on February 21st. The panels will explore how Nissan is leading the industry in preparation for the large-scale transition to electric mobility.

The company’s “Talk 4 Futures” initiative will engage stakeholders in open dialogue through weekly panel discussions on Saturdays at its Global Headquarters Gallery. The discussions will cover topics such as sustainability, economy, innovation, and culture and involve experts and Gen Z consumers.

Nissan Futures is an opportunity for the company to better understand individual and societal needs and drive towards a cleaner, safer, and more inclusive world through two-way dialogue with the public. All event information and content can be found on the Nissan global corporate website and will be showcased on its YouTube and LinkedIn channels. Admission to the Nissan Global Headquarters Gallery and participation in the events are free of charge.
