Autel Energy Unveils MaxiCharger AC Ultra, the Ideal EV Charging Solution for Commercial Environments

NEW YORK – Autel Energy has released its latest electric vehicle (EV) charger, the MaxiCharger AC Ultra, which is now available in North America. The charger has been designed, engineered, and tested to provide commercial-grade reliability and durability, with an elegant aesthetic. The AC Ultra features dual charging ports, multiple network capabilities, and robust all-weather resistance. It also includes an eight-inch advertising-ready touchscreen, making it an ideal solution for any commercial environment.

According to Kelvin Cao, the Vice President of Global Marketing at Autel Energy, “The AC Ultra is an EV game changer. With high power and performance, this charger will work when you need it to work.” The charger can charge two vehicles simultaneously, with each charging at 19.2 kilowatts of AC power, making Autel Energy the leader in EV charging solutions.

The AC Ultra is OCPP compliant and includes an eight-inch LCD touchscreen, a pedestal, and a charging cable management system. It offers businesses an array of revenue-generating opportunities via Autel’s cloud-based portal. Companies can provide charge rate discounts based on customer profiles and driver groups, and monetize programmatic advertising. The AC Ultra comes complete with a full-feature payment system, with numerous payment options, including credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Samsung Pay.

The built-in cable management system of the AC Ultra keeps operations organized, clean, and safe, encouraging users to replace the charging cable to its proper holder, keeping cables off the ground and avoiding cable damage. The charger offers Wi-Fi, 4G, Bluetooth, and ethernet capability, providing powerful connectivity options. The eight-inch touchscreen displays charging data in multiple languages and allows businesses to engage with customers with branded videos or slideshows.

The NEMA 3R-rated enclosure of the AC Ultra houses and protects the unit’s electrical components in inclement weather, making it resistant to rain, ice, snow, dirt, dust, sand, and other extreme weather conditions, with a wide operating temperature range of minus 40 to 55 degrees Celsius. The AC Ultra’s charging cable and connector are designed to withstand drops, even when subjected to extreme temperatures.
