Before starting Synop, Gagan Dhillon saw the difficulties companies faced while switching to commercial electric vehicles. As a member of insurtech firm REIN, he collaborated with leading commercial vehicle manufacturers and insurance companies to create solutions for the commercial auto sector. This experience motivated him to create software to aid the industry’s shift to commercial electric vehicles.
Dhillon’s company Synop (which he co-founded) streamlines EV operations for commercial fleets, such as school buses, trucks, rental cars, and government vehicles, by integrating charging, fleet management, and energy management into an easy-to-use solution. Its AI-powered software offers a unified platform for tracking, billing, reporting, and cost management, while supporting all EV types and charging stations. The software is specifically designed to help commercial fleets and OEMs improve performance and reach sustainability goals.
