For the first time, FISITA World Congress will be held in tandem with the FISITA World Mobility Summit, EuroBrake, and the inaugural FISITA Intelligent Safety Conference Europe at the Barcelona International Convention Centre, from September 12-15, 2023. The event is jointly organized by FISITA and STA and promises to be a pivotal networking and knowledge-sharing platform for the international mobility systems community.
The EV Report recently sat down with Chris Mason, Chief Executive of FISITA, to learn more about the event and get his take on what we can expect.
Set to be the largest FISITA Congress yet, the 39th edition aims to examine the technology, methodology, and strategy of mobility from design to manufacture and usage. The congress is expected to deliver technical sessions to thousands of delegates, facilitated by keynote speakers and roundtable discussions. Concurrently, an exhibition will provide business engagement opportunities with leading mobility systems brands.
EuroBrake, the world’s largest annual brake technology conference, is set to convene major stakeholders from the brake industry including passenger car and commercial vehicle component suppliers and manufacturers, raw material suppliers, and leading brands in rail, aerospace, and academia. The conference will address the future of braking via technical presentations, panel discussions, and keynote addresses on various themes including brake systems, commercial vehicles, components & materials, environmentally friendly approaches, modeling & simulation, rail, technologies, and testing.
The FISITA Intelligent Safety Conference, established in China, will make its European debut, with international speakers addressing crucial topics within the safety of future mobility.
The FISITA World Mobility Summit, an exclusive annual meeting of the technology leaders from top automotive and mobility brands, will focus on a theme pre-determined by the exclusive group, delivered through a full-day strategy session.
Throughout the four-day event, FISITA member working groups will host forums on topics such as carbon-neutral mobility, digitalization, industry disruption, intelligent safety, international supply chain, next-generation mobility, and climate change.
Sponsors can expect high brand visibility and engagement opportunities, with sponsorship packages that suit all organizations. Similarly, exhibitors have a range of options available, starting at 3,800 EUR, presenting an excellent chance to showcase their technology or service to global organizations involved in mobility.
Discounted tickets are available for FISITA corporate members, members of national automotive societies, students, and academia. FISITA is also running the Student Opportunities Programme (SOP) where students can display their work and compete for prizes. The deadline for SOP applications is June 2, 2023.
