This transformation is driven by the launch of two new luxury electric SUVs, Polestar 3 and Polestar 4, and the company’s move to a new sales model. With plans to expand its retail footprint and improve customer experience, Polestar UK aims to continue its growth and enhance its brand presence.
Key Highlights:
- Expansion of retail locations: Polestar will increase its “Spaces” from 9 to 17 across the UK in the next 18 months.
- New sales model: Polestar is transitioning to a non-genuine agency sales model to improve customer engagement and profitability.
- Customer accessibility: Buyers can configure and order vehicles online or through the growing network of retail Spaces.
- New vehicle launches: Polestar is rolling out two new electric luxury SUVs—Polestar 3 and Polestar 4—further strengthening its product lineup.
- Global growth: Polestar has delivered over 160,000 cars in 27 markets and plans to expand into seven additional markets by 2025, including Brazil and France.
Matt Galvin, Managing Director of Polestar UK, emphasized the importance of the retail expansion, stating, “Expanding our retail operations with new and existing partners will enable us to reach more customers.” John O’Hanlon, CEO of retailer group Waylands, expressed excitement about enhancing customer engagement, particularly with the arrival of the Polestar 3 and Polestar 4.
Polestar continues to push its ambitious goals, including the Polestar 0 project, which aims to produce a climate-neutral car by 2030. With ongoing innovation and a strong focus on sustainability, Polestar is well-positioned to lead in the electric vehicle market.
