ZEROVA Technologies, an international leader in electric vehicle charging station manufacturing, has announced it will include the North American Charging Standard (NACS) connector in all its upcoming EV charging solutions for the United States and Canada. The company anticipates shipping products equipped with NACS connectors by the fourth quarter of 2023.
Why It Matters
Including NACS connectors in ZEROVA’s product line responds to the accelerating global demand for this standard. “We’re witnessing a significant surge in demand for NACS worldwide,” said Manny Huguez, Vice President of Sales at ZEROVA Technologies USA. By incorporating the NACS connector in their Level 2 (AC) and Level 3 (DC) charging stations, ZEROVA is aligning with the customers’ dynamic requirements and contributing towards the rapid expansion of the North American EV infrastructure.
- The NACS connectors will be included in both AC and DC products manufactured by ZEROVA.
- ZEROVA is planning to start shipping products with NACS connectors by Q4 2023.
- NACS retrofit kits will also be provided for already deployed chargers, with authorized partners performing cable replacements while upholding safety compliance.
