A Unified Flagship Model
In a strategic move to simplify its lineup, the Jeep brand has fully integrated all models under the unified Jeep Grand Wagoneer name. Beginning with the 2026 model year, every vehicle will feature Jeep badging, reinforcing its position within the brand’s portfolio. This change aims to create a more cohesive experience for customers by absorbing the previously distinct Wagoneer models and delivering a clear identity of premium American design and legendary capability.

Powertrain Options for 2026
Customers can select from two powerful and distinct powertrain options. The first is America’s first range-extended electric vehicle (REEV) application in the segment, which is slated for late availability. This system pairs a liquid-cooled 92-kWh battery with a 3.6-liter V-6 engine that functions as an onboard generator. The wheels are powered exclusively by electric motors, delivering an estimated 647 horsepower and 620 lb.-ft. of torque, enabling a 0-60 mph time of just five seconds. The REEV system provides quiet all-electric driving for daily use with the assurance of a gasoline generator for an anticipated total range of over 500 miles.
The award-winning 3.0-liter Hurricane twin-turbo inline six-cylinder engine also returns for 2026. In its Standard Output (SO) configuration, it delivers 420 horsepower and 468 lb.-ft. of torque. This powertrain offers a best-in-class available towing capability of up to 10,000 lbs. and is engineered for optimized fuel economy.
Production of the Jeep Grand Wagoneer REEV will take place at the Warren (Michigan) Truck Assembly Plant.

Refined Exterior Design
The 2026 Jeep Grand Wagoneer presents a bold evolution of its design with a more commanding and upright stance. The front fascia has been reimagined with a taller profile, raised headlamps, and a wide, slim grille. This new look is highlighted by full-width LED lighting and an illuminated seven-slot grille, creating a distinctive visual signature.
A significant change for the lineup is the move to a chrome-free exterior. This modern approach embraces a more refined palette and reflects a shift toward cleaner and more sustainable design expressions. The vehicle’s design is completed with a wide range of new wheel designs, available from 18 to 22 inches, allowing for greater personalization.
Updated Interior Trims and Technology
The interior of the 2026 Grand Wagoneer lineup has been streamlined across several distinct trims. The entry-level Grand Wagoneer and Limited models feature Capri and Nappa leather seating surfaces, respectively, in color schemes like black with Sea Salt. The rugged Upland trim and more appointed Limited Reserve offer additional styling and amenities.

The Summit trim elevates the interior with fully wrapped surfaces and Dark Waxed Walnut open-pore wood trim. At the top of the range, the Summit Reserve introduces a new interior palette of black, Tupelo, and Dark Ruby Red, featuring premium Palermo leather, a suede headliner, and a standard 23-speaker McIntosh audio system.
Technological enhancements include a new, larger Head-up Display (HUD) available on the Limited trim and standard on Limited Reserve and Summit models. This advanced HUD offers a significantly larger field of view, improving the driver’s interface and overall experience.
