Redefining Short-Distance Mobility
With urban congestion and CO₂ emissions rising, ALSO’s mission centers on offering compact, efficient EVs for trips under 15 miles — which represent 80% of today’s car journeys. The company’s vertically integrated approach allows it to design and produce motors, batteries, and software in-house, enabling superior customization and long-term sustainability.
“Our vision is to bring together the latest technology with fun, thoughtful design to create small EVs that inspire people to adopt these more efficient modes,” said Chris Yu, President of ALSO. “This launch is just the beginning of a broader platform we are building that we believe will catalyze adoption globally.”

Inside the TM-B Electric Bike
The flagship TM-B redefines what an e-bike can be, featuring a modular top frame adaptable to multiple body sizes and use cases—from daily commuting to recreation. Powered by the DreamRide system, TM-B delivers a software-defined pedaling experience that blends regenerative energy and motor assistance for effortless control.
Key features include a vehicle-grade battery, USB-C fast charging, an integrated security system, and the Portal digital touchscreen display offering navigation, media, and app connectivity. The system automatically unlocks or locks the bike based on rider proximity via the ALSO app.

Expanding the Micromobility Platform
Alongside the TM-B, ALSO introduced the TM-Q — a four-wheel, pedal-assist quad for both consumer and commercial use. The consumer TM-Q offers a safe, compact option for families and individuals, while the commercial TM-Q targets delivery and logistics operations, providing a data-rich, scalable platform optimized for dense urban environments.
ALSO also revealed a multi-year collaboration with Amazon to develop a custom pedal-assist e-cargo quad for its last-mile delivery fleet. “Micromobility solutions like pedal-assist e-cargo quads allow us to quickly deliver to customers in dense, urban cities while helping reduce traffic and noise,” said Emily Barber, Director of Amazon’s Global Fleet.
Next-Gen Helmet and Global Partner Network
The Alpha Wave Helmet combines RLS rotational impact protection, integrated lighting, and an audio system with six speakers and microphones for hands-free control via the TM-B’s interface.
ALSO’s ecosystem includes Rivian for retail presence, Velofix for mobile servicing, and Chase Slate for financing. Rivian will feature ALSO’s vehicles in select retail and online channels later this year, with full service networks to be announced in 2026.
Bottom Line
With its vertically integrated platform and strategic partnerships, ALSO aims to redefine micromobility — merging sustainability, technology, and fun to deliver scalable electric solutions for both individuals and businesses worldwide.
