SAN DIEGO – Beam Global, a leading provider of sustainable products and technologies for electric vehicle (EV) charging, energy storage, energy security, and outdoor media, has launched the ARC Mobility™ trailer. This is a specialized hydraulic transport solution that can quickly transport and relocate off-grid EV ARC™ charging systems. The trailer is manufactured at Beam’s San Diego factory and is designed to be easy for one person to use.
Desmond Wheatley, CEO of Beam Global, commented on the launch: “Customers are building fleets of EV ARC charging systems. Our repeat customers are placing multi-unit second and third orders to build out their EV charging infrastructure with off-grid transportable EV ARC systems. We have also seen an increase in first-time customers placing multi-unit orders right out the gate.”
The trailer’s rugged steel frame is powder-coated for durability and rust prevention, and the slip-resistant decking is designed for safety and ease of movement. The trailer also features heavy-duty suspension, self-adjusting electric brakes, and tandem 10,000 lb. axles for smooth transport. It comes with a spare wheel and mount and can be configured with a gooseneck or pintle hitch for towing.
With the ability to easily relocate EV charging, customers can have ultimate flexibility for emergencies, power outages, events, and changes in emerging EV driver patterns. As EV charging demand and patterns change, the emerging EV charging infrastructure can change as well. “As EV charging demand, patterns and needs change, so can the emerging EV charging infrastructure,” Wheatley added.
