Advanced Technology and Features
The BYD ATTO 2 introduces Cell-to-Body (CTB) technology, a first for BYD’s compact SUVs. This innovative design integrates the battery into the vehicle’s chassis, with the battery’s top cover serving as the passenger compartment floor. This enhances body rigidity and optimizes interior space, setting a new standard in the segment. The vehicle also incorporates BYD’s Blade Battery, known for its safety, durability, and performance.
Standard features across both trims include a 12.8-inch rotatable touchscreen, an eight-speaker audio system, ‘Hi BYD’ intelligent voice control, and wireless smartphone charging. The vehicle-to-load (V2L) function allows owners to power external devices, such as a coffee machine or lawnmower, adding practicality for everyday use.
Performance and Range
The Boost model, equipped with a 51.1kWh battery, delivers a 214-mile range (WLTP combined) and up to 302 miles in city driving. Its 82kW DC charger enables a 30-80% charge in 30 minutes. The Comfort model, with a 64.8kWh battery, offers an extended 261-mile range and a faster 155kW DC charger, achieving a 30-80% charge in just 21 minutes. Both models feature a front-wheel-drive system, with the Boost producing 130kW of power and 290Nm of torque, while the Comfort delivers 150kW and 310Nm. The ATTO 2 accelerates from 0-62 mph in 7.9 seconds and reaches a top speed of 99 mph.

Design and Practicality
Measuring 4,310mm in length, 1,830mm in width, and 1,675mm in height, the ATTO 2 is designed for urban maneuverability without sacrificing interior space. Its 2,620mm wheelbase ensures ample room for five occupants, with a trunk capacity of 400 liters (expandable to 1,340 liters with rear seats folded). The Boost model weighs 1,590kg, while the Comfort model is slightly heavier at 1,680kg. Both trims come with 17-inch wheels and a heat pump as standard for efficient climate control.
Availability and Ordering
Customers can configure and order the ATTO 2 through BYD’s official website at www.byd.com/uk/configurator/atto-2. Deliveries for the Boost model are scheduled to begin in September 2025, with Comfort models arriving later in 2025.
