Barcelona – The Hispano Suiza Carmen and Carmen Boulogne are setting a new standard in the automotive industry, just as their predecessors did over a century ago. Dubbed as hypercars, these vehicles embody the concepts of technology, elegance, exclusivity, and performance.
Technology
The Hispano Suiza Technical Team is comprised of renowned motorsport engineers, technicians, and mechanics with experience in Formula E. The brand’s development driver, former Formula 1 and touring car ace Luis Pérez-Sala, has completed numerous test runs on the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya and surrounding roads to bring the Carmen to life.
With cutting-edge technology, the Hispano Suiza Carmen and Carmen Boulogne are vehicles ahead of their time. With a fully electric engine, they deliver 1,114 CV of power (Carmen Boulogne) and 1,019 CV (Carmen), thanks to an 80 kWh battery that offers a driving range of 400 km on a full charge in zero emission mode.
Performance
The Carmen and Carmen Boulogne offer dream performances, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in less than three seconds. With 820kW of prodigious power and a curb weight of 1,690kg (60kg less for the Boulogne version), these hypercars deliver outstanding performance both on the road and racetrack.
Design
Design is a hallmark of the Hispano Suiza brand, and the Carmen and Carmen Boulogne are no exception. Both the exterior and interior are designed with attention to detail, creating a sense of exclusivity for those inside. The exterior of the Carmen takes inspiration from the iconic 1930s H6C Dubonnet Xenia, while the interior features the best materials and is inspired by luxurious Hispano Suiza models of the past. The cabin is a two-seater space that exudes refinement and opulence, with high-quality machined aluminum and wood trim on the dashboard and a classic clock in the center, paying homage to the brand’s early vehicles.
Exclusivity
Hispano Suiza offers a bespoke experience for its clients through the “Unique Tailormade” program. With over 1,904 combinations to choose from for the interior and exterior, each Carmen can be configured as a one-of-a-kind model. With a limited production of just 24 units of the Carmen and Carmen Boulogne, ownership of one of these hypercars is truly exclusive.
Legend
Hispano Suiza has a rich history in the Spanish, European, and global automotive industry, having been founded in Barcelona in 1904. Over the years, the company has manufactured over 12,000 cars and 50,000 aircraft engines, attracting a list of high-profile clients that includes King Alfonso XIII of Spain, Coco Chanel, Albert Einstein, and Pablo Picasso. The brand’s pioneering character, design, performance, quality, and luxury have made it a legend in the automotive world.
