Kia UK is set to offer customers an exclusive first look at its latest electric vehicles, the Kia EV4 and Kia EV5, through its nationwide “Kia Electric Experience” events. These events will provide a unique opportunity for the public to engage with Kia’s expanding all-electric lineup and gain hands-on experience with the new models.

The “Kia Electric Experience” initiative continues Kia’s efforts to bring its latest electric vehicles directly to consumers. Each stop on the tour will feature an unveil show for the EV4 and EV5, followed by an exclusive presentation and the chance to explore the vehicles in detail.
The Kia EV4, first unveiled in February 2025, will be offered to UK customers in both hatchback and sedan body styles. It is built on Kia’s 400V Electric-Global Modular Platform (E-GMP) and will feature a choice of 58.3kWh or 81.4kWh battery packs, with a projected range of up to 391 miles for certain configurations. The EV4 boasts aerodynamic enhancements, resulting in a low drag coefficient of 0.23 Cd. Inside, drivers will find advanced technology such as Over-The-Air update capability, a 30-inch combined widescreen display, and in-car streaming services. Comfort features include relaxation seats, a rotating armrest, and substantial luggage capacity (490 liters for the sedan and 435 liters for the hatchback). Safety is a priority, with Kia’s ‘Drive Wise’ advanced driver-assistance system included.
The Kia EV5, an electric SUV also utilizing the E-GMP platform, offers a spacious interior designed to emulate a home lounge. The long-range version will be equipped with an 81.4kWh battery and a 160kW front motor. The EV5 includes an advanced heat pump system for optimal battery performance in varying weather conditions, regenerative braking, and an i-Pedal system for single-pedal driving. Its cabin features a connected car Navigation Cockpit (ccNC) infotainment system with a Panoramic Wide Display, combining two 12.3-inch screens and a 5.3-inch climate control display. Advanced safety technologies such as Highway Driving Assist 2 (HDA2) and Remote Smart Parking Assist 2 (RSPA 2) are also incorporated.
In addition to the new EV4 and EV5, the events will showcase the Kia EV3, which has been named the ‘2025 UK Car of the Year’ and ‘2025 World Car of the Year’. The established EV6 and EV9 models will also be present, demonstrating the breadth of Kia’s electric offerings. These events underscore Kia’s commitment to educating the public about electric mobility, following previous successful initiatives. This aligns with Kia’s ‘Plan S’ strategy, which aims to launch nine EV models in the UK by 2030 as the brand transitions into a Sustainable Mobility Solutions Provider.
UK specifications and pricing for the Kia EV4 and Kia EV5 are anticipated to be announced in early Q3 2025.
