Cork-based smart charging company Ohme has been named a trusted home EV charging partner for SSE Airtricity, a leading green energy supplier in Ireland. This collaboration will introduce Ohme’s intelligent home chargers to over 750,000 SSE Airtricity customers, making EV ownership more accessible and cost-effective.

- SSE Airtricity will recommend Ohme EV chargers to its customers, supporting Ireland’s transition to electric vehicles.
- Ohme chargers integrate with SSE Airtricity’s energy tariffs, including the Smart EV Charge plan, which offers 8,000km of free EV charging and a super low EV rate of 7.29c/kWh.
- Ohme is the first EV charger integrated into SSE Airtricity’s EnergiHub app, allowing customers to optimize costs and maximize renewable energy use.
- EnergiHub automatically charges EVs overnight, potentially saving users up to €585 annually.
- Ohme’s charging technology is used by major automakers in Ireland, including Mercedes-Benz, Volvo, and the Volkswagen Group.
