Taiga Motors Inc. has officially unveiled its next-generation Orca electric watercraft lineup. The announcement introduces a brand-new three-seat crossover model, the Orca WX3, alongside an updated two-seat performance model, the Orca P2. The new lineup is distinguished by breakthrough digital connectivity, standard DC fast charging, and groundbreaking vehicle-to-grid power capabilities, setting a new industry benchmark for electric personal watercraft.
Key Highlights
- Introduction of the new Orca WX3 crossover model designed for multi-passenger riding and tow sports.
- Industry-first digital vehicle controls, featuring onboard mapping and geofencing for enhanced safety.
- Standard DC fast charging and groundbreaking bidirectional vehicle-to-grid capabilities are included on all new models.
- Global deliveries for the new Orca lineup begin in 2026, marking the first time the watercraft will be available in Europe.

Expanded Orca Lineup for Better Adventures
The 2026 lineup expands with the versatile Orca WX3, a crossover platform built for family adventures and watersports. Its hydrodynamically engineered extended hull provides exceptional stability for cruising or casting from the rear deck. The WX3 features a reinforced tow system, an accessory-ready rear platform for activities like wakeboarding and fishing, and an ergonomically designed three-person seat that lowers the center of gravity for more confident handling. With up to two hours of ride time, the Orca WX3 starts at US $23,999.
Returning as the performance benchmark, the Orca P2 is an evolution of the previous Orca Performance model. This two-seat watercraft continues to offer industry-leading handling and instant acceleration on a lighter, more refined platform for pure on-water exhilaration. The Orca P2 starts at US $20,999.
Across the entire lineup, engineering refinements have simplified systems for improved durability and ease of ownership. Taiga has consolidated components and introduced new alloys and aerospace-grade anodization to enhance corrosion resistance.
Revolutionary Connectivity and Controls
The new Orca lineup introduces a suite of advanced digital features. A new onboard mapping system allows riders to view their live location and navigate directly from the dash. A game-changing geofencing feature enables owners to set boundaries or limit speeds in specific areas, which is ideal for safety in busy waterways or for managing fleets.
Owners can also configure custom power and speed limits to tailor performance for different experience levels. The addition of shareable digital keys makes it simple to grant or restrict access to the watercraft for specific users. For 2026, a seamlessly integrated premium audio speaker system with Bluetooth connectivity is also available as an add-on.
Supercharged Power On and Off Water
For the first time, all Orca models will come standard with bidirectional charging, turning the watercraft into a mobile energy source. This vehicle-to-grid capability allows the Orca to discharge power to support a home during an outage, recharge equipment at the dock, or even power an off-grid cabin.
All 2026 Orca models will also be equipped with automotive-grade DC fast charging. The watercraft will use the CCS1 connector in North America and the CCS2 connector in Europe, allowing riders to use the same widespread charging networks as electric cars. Advances in battery design and software enable the Orca to charge in under 30 minutes with a DC fast charger.
Purpose-Built Electric Powertrain
At the core of every Orca is Taiga’s next-generation electric powertrain. The new integrated Tractive Unit combines an IPM motor and inverter with a redesigned control algorithm for precise and responsive power delivery. An optimized stator winding enhances thermal efficiency by over 15%, allowing for extended peak power performance.
Taiga’s latest battery pack features fused cooling panel technology that improves temperature uniformity, increasing continuous power output by up to 65% in hot marine environments. The closed-loop cooling system ensures no pollutants enter the water and eliminates the need for seasonal winterization.
Striking New Color Options
To complement the new lineup, Taiga is unveiling three bold new colorways. Miami Blue offers a vibrant tone paired with sand-colored marine mats. Monte Carlo Red is a deep metallic red that evokes the luxury of supercar design. Finally, Titanium Pink blends metallic strength with the warmth of a coastal sunset.
