Why It Matters

“XPENG aims to redefine the driving experience in Europe, blending sophistication and ease with a fresh take on mobility,” stated Eric Xu, VP International Markets, XPENG. This partnership signifies XPENG’s commitment to deliver a more intuitive and enjoyable mobility experience, emphasizing emotional engagement along with physical transportation.

Key Points

The Twine4Car platform from ACCESS is a game-changer in automotive content and app service solutions. It allows OEMs to provide personalized entertainment services within the vehicle. The platform includes well-known social and productivity apps, a new game portal featuring console-class games, and top streaming services. The intent is to enable drivers and passengers to productively engage or entertain themselves during their car journeys, particularly while parked or charging. “Our unique ability to provide a next-gen IVI system, complete with a dedicated app store and leading video services, enables XPENG to provide infotainment experiences that will excite its drivers,” says Masahiro Aono, CEO, ACCESS Europe.

Bottom Line

As IVI platforms evolve, vehicles require more than basic audio services and navigation. Twine4Car, as a central hub for in-vehicle services, offers content from global media partners, providing a wide range of apps, TV services, games, and VOD offerings for XPENG’s electric vehicles. The Twine App Store, Native Android App Support, Sync Play, and Parental/Remote Control features combine to create an immersive and interactive in-vehicle experience. This partnership signals XPENG’s continued push towards intelligent, connected, and emotionally engaging mobility solutions.
