XPENG Unveils G9 Flagship SUV and New P7 Sports Sedan for European Markets

STOCKHOLM – XPENG has launched two new electric vehicle (EV) models, the G9 SUV and the new P7 sports sedan, for the European market. The models will be on display at the eCar Expo in Stockholm from February 3rd to 5th and are now available for order in Denmark, Norway, the Netherlands, and Sweden.

The G9 features XPENG’s latest powertrain system, battery technology, and advanced driver assistance system (ADAS), as well as a luxurious cabin experience. The new P7, an upgraded version of its predecessor, combines its signature sports sedan profile with increased range, faster charging, and a smarter cabin.

The G9 boasts a new powertrain system with an 800 V Silicon Carbide (SiC) platform, allowing for ultra-fast charging of up to 300 kW. This results in a range of up to 570 km on a single charge, and the ability to charge the 98 kWh battery from 10% to 80% in 20 minutes. The G9 also has the option of an electric tow bar, capable of towing up to 1,500 kg.

Both the G9 and P7 are engineered to meet E-NCAP five-star safety standards and EU WVTA vehicle certification. The G9 has the option of all-wheel drive or rear-wheel drive and boasts up to 551 hp with a maximum torque of 717 Nm, accelerating from 0-100 km/h in 3.9 seconds. The all-wheel drive version of the P7 accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds and features Brembo brakes as standard.

The cabins of both vehicles feature wraparound designs with high-quality finishing and materials, heating and ventilation functions for the front seats, and a Dynaudio sound system. The vehicles are equipped with XPENG’s proprietary Advanced Driver Assistance System, XPILOT, and the upgraded in-car Xmart OS with a new 3D UI and improved voice assistant. The vehicles will also support OTA updates for software and firmware improvements.

XPENG is expanding its service and charging networks with the opening of new Delivery and Service Centers in key markets in Norway, the Netherlands, Sweden, and Denmark. The new models from XPENG offer a combination of superior styling, quality, performance, and comfort, and represent a significant milestone as the company builds its presence in Europe.
