Range and Charging
The redesigned LEAF targets mainstream EV buyers with a 303-mile EPA-estimated range. It also includes a built-in NACS port with Plug & Charge capability. That feature connects drivers to more than 27,500 Tesla Superchargers across the U.S. The combination addresses two common EV purchase barriers: range anxiety and charging access.
Design and Technology
Now in its third generation, the LEAF adopts a more SUV-like silhouette. Nissan reshaped the body lines, added flush door handles, and incorporated 3D holographic tail lamps. Interior technology includes available dual 14.3-inch displays with Google built-in, including Google Maps. Additionally, the LEAF offers an available segment-first dimming panoramic roof and 64-color ambient interior lighting. A standard class-exclusive Intelligent Around View Monitor rounds out the tech package.
Pricing and Value
The 2026 LEAF S+ starts at an MSRP of $29,990. Notably, that figure is lower than the original 2011 LEAF launch price. For buyers seeking an affordable entry point into EV ownership, the pricing positions the LEAF competitively in the compact EV segment.
