BMW iX Update Boosts Range, Power

The updated BMW iX stands out with its technological advancements and refreshed styling. For the first time, buyers can opt for the M Sport package, which sharpens the vehicle’s exterior and interior with a bold, athletic edge. New exterior colors, including Dune Grey metallic and Tanzanite Blue metallic, add to its appeal. This update not only enhances the driving experience but also reinforces BMW’s commitment to sustainable mobility, as the iX remains emissions-free with a CO2 class A rating.

At the Dingolfing plant, the BMW iX continues to lead the charge in the all-electric era. Plant Manager Christoph Schröder emphasizes its importance, stating: “The BMW iX is a special vehicle for us. Four years ago, at its launch, it paved the way for many future technologies here on-site. And: It marked the beginning of the all-electric vehicle era in our plant.” Alongside the iX, the facility now produces four all-electric models, including the BMW i7 and electric 5 Series variants, plus five plug-in hybrids, showcasing its pivotal role in BMW’s electrification strategy.

This update positions the BMW iX as a flagship in the company’s electric portfolio, blending luxury, innovation, and sustainability. As BMW prepares for the “New Class” launch, the iX remains a cornerstone of its 2025 offerings, appealing to drivers seeking range, power, and style in an all-electric package. Production in Dingolfing ensures that this pioneer continues to drive BMW’s vision forward.
