CUPRA has confirmed UK pricing for the all-electric Raval, with the urban hatchback starting from £23,785 (approximately $32,110) on the road. The model arrives in the UK this summer in Origin, V1, V2, and VZ trims, with deliveries following the brand’s European launch earlier this month. Full specifications and configurator details are available at CUPRA’s UK site.
The Raval is the first model from the Volkswagen Group’s Brand Group Core Electric Urban Car family and is built on the new MEB+ platform. It joins CUPRA’s electric lineup alongside the recently refreshed Born hatchback and the Tavascan SUV coupe.
Highlights
- UK pricing starts at £23,785 OTR for the Origin trim with a 37 kWh battery and 115 PS
- Top VZ trim is priced at £34,995 with a 52 kWh battery, 225 PS, and an electronic limited-slip differential
- Manufacturer-cited range reaches around 280 miles on the 52 kWh battery in V1 and V2 specification
- UK Electric Car Grant application has been submitted; quoted prices do not include any potential ECG reduction
Battery and Powertrain Options
Three powertrain configurations are offered across the lineup. The entry Origin model pairs a 37 kWh battery with a 115 PS motor. V1 and V2 trims add a choice between the 37 kWh pack with 135 PS or a 52 kWh pack with 210 PS. CUPRA cites a range of approximately 280 miles for the larger battery and a 10–80% DC charge time of 23 minutes.
The performance-oriented VZ is offered only with the 52 kWh battery, producing 225 PS and a quoted range of around 250 miles. VZ specification adds an electronic limited-slip differential and Dynamic Chassis Control.
All quoted range figures appear to follow the WLTP test cycle, which typically produces higher numbers than the EPA cycle used in North America.

Market Position and Grant Eligibility
CUPRA noted that an application for the UK Electric Car Grant has been submitted and that the published prices do not reflect any ECG reduction. The grant currently offers tiered discounts of up to £3,750 against eligible electric vehicles meeting emissions, range, and sustainability criteria, including manufacturer Science Based Targets initiative verification.
Earlier reporting indicated CUPRA was targeting a base price of around €26,000 for European markets. The UK Origin trim sits below that level at current exchange rates before any grant is applied.
Marcus Gossen, Managing Director of SEAT and CUPRA UK, said: “The CUPRA Raval marks a bold new chapter for the brand, and today’s pricing announcement is a pivotal moment in that story. The response since its unveiling has been extraordinary, and with a starting price of £23,785, it brings exciting electric performance within reach of more drivers than ever before. We’re proud to introduce the Raval to UK customers and confident it will challenge expectations and set a new benchmark in the segment.”
The Raval is produced at the Volkswagen Group’s Martorell plant in Spain, alongside the Volkswagen ID. Polo and other Electric Urban Car family models. UK customer deliveries are expected in summer 2026.
