The EV Report is published by Hagman Media, part of Hagman Group, Inc., based in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. Our publisher is Brian Hagman.
How our stories are produced
Most news articles on The EV Report are drafted with AI assistance from company announcements, regulatory filings, recall notices and other public sources. Every article is then reviewed, edited and approved by Brian Hagman before it is published. People, not software, decide what we cover and what we publish.
These articles carry the byline “The EV Report Staff”. Interviews, analysis and commentary carry the name of the person who wrote them.
Sponsorship and independence
The EV Report is free to read and funded by industry partners. That only works if readers can trust the page a partner appears on, so:
- Every paid placement is disclosed. Sponsored content, dedicated sends and partner messages are always labeled and kept separate from news.
- Partners are covered like anyone else. That includes recalls and bad news. When we report on a partner, the story carries a line noting that the company is a partner of The EV Report.
