EVgo Strengthens Leadership with Industry Veterans

EVgo, one of the nation’s largest public fast-charging networks for electric vehicles, announced the addition of Martin Sukup and Jeff Inhofer from Tesla, and Alex Keros from General Motors, to its leadership team. These appointments aim to enhance EVgo’s capability in product development, engineering, and customer experience.

Key Highlights:

  • Martin Sukup, former Tesla charging team leader, joins as Executive Vice President of Engineering.
  • Jeff Inhofer, also from Tesla, is appointed as Vice President of Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) Engineering.
  • Alex Keros, a General Motors veteran, will become Senior Vice President of Product starting August 12, 2024.
  • These leaders bring expertise in product development, EV charging hardware and software, and customer experience.
  • The new leadership team will drive EVgo’s efforts to develop next-generation charging architecture.

Martin Sukup joins EVgo after 14 years at Tesla, where he led residential product architecture and charging systems, delivering multiple generations of Superchargers. At EVgo, Sukup will oversee EVSE hardware and software, data management, reliability, and quality.

Jeff Inhofer, with 10 years at Tesla, contributed to the global Supercharger network and supported residential solar installations. At EVgo, he will focus on developing the next generations of EVSE for the charging network.

Alex Keros brings nearly 18 years of experience from General Motors, where he commercialized advanced technology and established new business models for EVs, fuel cells, shared mobility, and charging infrastructure. At EVgo, Keros will concentrate on product and services strategy, market research, and defining product requirements for a seamless customer experience.
