Faraday Future has reached a significant production milestone with the first FX Super One pre-production vehicle rolling off the line at its Hanford, California facility. Manufacturing and Facility Capacity
The FF AI-Factory California is a 1.1 million-square-foot facility that has received approximately $300 million in investment to date. Currently producing the flagship FF 91 2.0, the plant is integrating flexible production lines to support the FX series.
With additional investment and regulatory permitting, the Hanford site could reach a production capacity of more than 30,000 FX vehicles annually. This facility validates the company’s capability in localized assembly and quality control processes.
FX Super One Technical Specifications
The FX Super One is positioned as a premium mass-market MPV designed for both business and family use. It features a spacious interior with advanced materials and an integrated AI-driven ecosystem. Key technical highlights include:
- Powertrain Options: All-wheel drive (AWD) is standard, with options for battery electric (BEV) and a forthcoming AI hybrid extended range (AIHER) system.
- Structural Safety: The vehicle utilizes a triple-reinforced cage built with over 80% high-strength steel.
- AI Integration: Powered by the FF EAI 6×4 Technology Platform, the vehicle supports multimodal interaction and proactive safety systems.
Strategic Roadmap and CES 2026
Faraday Future will utilize the upcoming CES event on January 7 to discuss mass production and delivery roadmaps. This event will also serve as the official launch for a nationwide co-creation sales campaign for 2026.
The company’s “Bridge Strategy” aims to fill structural gaps in the U.S. high-end MPV market. By utilizing global supply chains and localized manufacturing, FF intends to scale the FX brand as a high-volume, affordable alternative to its flagship models.
