HONGQI, a name synonymous with luxury in the Chinese automotive industry, is set to make a grand entrance at the 2024 Goodwood Festival of Speed. This prestigious event will not only mark HONGQI’s debut but also the launch of global pre-sales for its state-of-the-art electric models, the EH7 and EHS7.

As the official partner of the 2024 Goodwood Festival of Speed, HONGQI will showcase a static display of five models. Additionally, three new energy models, the EH7, EHS7, and EHS9, will compete in the classic hill climb runs, demonstrating their powerful performance and exceptional handling.
The HONGQI EH7 and EHS7 represent the pinnacle of excellence in the electric vehicle market. Both models boast an impressive range of up to 660 km. The advanced low-temperature battery technology ensures that the battery maintains near-full capacity at -10°C and 90% usable capacity at -20°C. With 246kW fast charging, a short coffee break is sufficient to gain the range needed for a drive from Goodwood to London.
The electric motor, capable of reaching 22,500 RPM, delivers acceleration akin to that of sports cars. The inclusion of unique rear-wheel steering, variable damping suspension, and air suspension systems ensures an agile and harmonious driving experience. Both models are developed to meet ENCAP safety standards, ensuring top-notch driving safety.
The EHS7 stands out with its unparalleled comfort and convenience. It offers over 1 meter of legroom and headroom, making it ideal for taller passengers. The best-in-class 528mm seat cushion is crafted from slow-rebound memory foam, providing superior comfort and support. Smart features include remote vehicle control via smartphone, an AR HUD for real-time information, and a hands-free trunk opening system. The 5-layer stereo sound system with 21 speakers delivers an immersive audio experience, enhancing the luxurious feel of the vehicle.
