White Logistics has partnered with Hydrogen Vehicle Systems (HVS) to conduct a pioneering trial of Hydrogen Fuel Cell Electric Vehicles (HFCEVs), starting in late 2025. This collaboration aims to assess the potential of zero-emission hydrogen Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGVs) technology for integration into White Logistics’ extensive fleet.
Key Highlights:
- White Logistics to begin HVS HFCEV trial in late 2025.
- Partnership focuses on zero-emission hydrogen HGV technology.
- HVS, the UK’s first Hydrogen Fuel Cell truck OEM, partners with White Logistics.
- White Logistics to gain trial vehicles for fleet assessment.
- Collaboration covers hydrogen electric vehicle technology and infrastructure.
- Trial aims to position White Logistics for partial fleet conversion to zero-emission HGVs.
The Partnership’s Goals
Hydrogen Vehicle Systems, a leader in hydrogen fuel cell technology based in Glasgow, has signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with White Logistics. This agreement signifies a joint effort to integrate hydrogen fuel cell HGVs into White’s fleet, marking a significant step toward decarbonization and a net-zero future. The MOA facilitates a collaborative environment, allowing for comprehensive testing of HVS’s innovative hydrogen fuel cell HGVs and a shared exploration of hydrogen infrastructure and refueling equipment.
