The EV4 is currently on sale in Korea, with a global rollout planned for the second half of 2025.

A New Era of Sedan Design
The EV4 introduces a new sedan typology guided by Kia’s ‘Opposites United’ design philosophy, which harmonizes contrasting elements. Its sculpted shape, featuring a full underbody cover, achieves a segment-leading drag coefficient of just 0.230 Cd, enhancing both aesthetic appeal and efficiency. The exterior incorporates sustainable materials, with front and rear bumpers containing 20 percent recycled content.
For added convenience, the EV4 features a front-mounted manual charging door and an enhanced status indicator. Advanced LED lighting is standard, with an optional Intelligent Front-lighting System (IFS) that improves nighttime visibility without dazzling other drivers. The vehicle will be available in four-door variants for Korea and North America and a five-door model for European markets.

An Interior Focused on Productivity and Relaxation
The EV4’s interior is designed to function as a versatile space for both productivity and relaxation. A standout feature is the center console’s sliding table, which allows occupants to work, dine, or unwind. A dedicated Rest Mode reclines the front seats and adjusts lighting to create a serene environment.
Engineers maximized cabin space through intelligent design choices. The front seatbacks have an ultra-slim profile to increase rear legroom, while a compact HVAC system frees up additional footwell space. The sedan boasts 490 liters of luggage capacity, with a widened trunk aperture to accommodate larger items. The cabin is equipped with a unified touchscreen that integrates audio, navigation, and climate controls for a clean and intuitive cockpit.

Electric Performance and Charging
Built on the dedicated Electric-Global Modular Platform (E-GMP), the EV4 utilizes a 400-volt architecture that balances performance, range, and fast charging. Two battery options are available: a 58.3kWh Standard model and an 81.4kWh Long Range version. Both are paired with a 150kW front-wheel drive motor. The sedan’s Long Range variant offers up to 630 km of driving range (WLTP).
The EV4 introduces Kia’s i-Pedal 3.0 regenerative braking system, allowing drivers to adjust braking strength and enable one-pedal driving. Its versatility extends with Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) and Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) functionalities, allowing the car to power external devices or supply energy back to the grid.

Advanced Technology and Safety
The EV4 is equipped with a next-generation infotainment ecosystem that delivers seamless connectivity. Standard features include a six-speaker sound system and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. An optional eight-speaker Harman Kardon premium sound system is also available.
For the first time in the segment, Kia introduces Digital Key 2.0, enabling drivers to use a smartphone or smartwatch to access and start the vehicle. Safety is paramount, with Kia’s Highway Driving Assist (HDA 2) technology offered alongside a suite of advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) to enhance occupant protection.
