Automobili Lamborghini unveiled the Fenomeno Roadster on May 9, capping production at 15 units of a 1,080 CV (1,065 hp) V12 hybrid that becomes the most powerful open-top vehicle the marque has ever built. The Few-Off model debuted at the second Lamborghini Arena event in Imola and is an open-top evolution of the Fenomeno Coupé first shown at 2025 Monterey Car Week. Lamborghini reports a 0–100 km/h (0–62 mph) time of 2.4 seconds and a top speed above 340 km/h (211 mph). The roadster pairs a 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 producing 835 CV with three electric motors and a 7 kWh lithium-ion battery.
Highlights
- Production capped at 15 units worldwide, less than half the 29-unit run of the Fenomeno Coupé and continuing a Few-Off open-top lineage that began with the 2009 Reventón Roadster.
- Combined system output of 1,080 CV / 1,065 hp from a 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 (835 CV at 9,250 rpm) and three electric motors — two on the front axle, one above the eight-speed dual-clutch gearbox.
- Performance: 0–100 km/h in 2.4 seconds, 0–200 km/h in 6.8 seconds, top speed above 340 km/h (211 mph), with a 7 kWh lithium-ion battery enabling fully electric driving.
- Bridgestone Potenza Sport tires sized 265/30 ZRF21 front and 355/25 ZRF22 rear, with a homologated semi-slick option for track use.

First V12 Hybrid HPEV in Open-Top Form
The Fenomeno Roadster is Lamborghini’s first open two-seater built on a V12 hybrid High Performance Electrified Vehicle (HPEV) powertrain. The 6.5-liter V12 delivers 835 CV at 9,250 rpm and 725 Nm of torque at 6,750 rpm, which Lamborghini describes as a specific output of more than 128 CV per liter — a record for the company’s V12 program.
Three electric motors supplement the combustion engine. Two sit on the front axle and provide torque vectoring and regenerative braking, while a third is positioned above the eight-speed dual-clutch transmission. The 7 kWh lithium-ion battery also enables an electric-only driving mode.
The platform is shared with the Revuelto, Lamborghini’s flagship V12 HPEV that launched the marque’s hybrid V12 era in 2023. Combined output on the Revuelto is rated at 1,015 CV, so the Fenomeno Roadster’s 1,080 CV figure represents a 65 CV uplift over the production hypercar that underpins it.
Aerodynamics Reworked for Roofless Driving
Removing the Coupé’s fixed roof forced a redesign of the upper body. Lamborghini reports that the Roadster matches the Coupé’s downforce, stability, and balance targets through a new aerodynamic package. A carbon spoiler integrated into the windshield header channels air over the cockpit and into a redesigned engine bay, replacing the Coupé’s air scoop.
Rollover protection structures are housed behind the seats and integrated into the Speedster humps, which Lamborghini says minimizes wind noise and turbulence at high speed. The rear retains an active wing, reprofiled for the open-top configuration, and a redesigned diffuser.
Centro Stile Design Director Mitja Borkert said: “With the Fenomeno Roadster, we are continuing the dream of many Lamborghini enthusiasts. It’s an exclusive and precious looking design; the Fenomeno Roadster represents the ‘feel like a pilot’ philosophy.”

Chassis, Braking, and Tires
The chassis uses the carbon fiber monofuselage structure derived from the Revuelto, with front crash structures, front frame, windshield frame, rear bulkhead, and side skirts in Forged Composite. Lamborghini reports the Roadster achieves rigidity figures close to the Coupé’s while adding only a few kilograms — a result the company attributes to a novel combination of long and short carbon fibers with a patented fluid mixture used for the first time on a production Lamborghini hybrid.
Braking is handled by the CCM-R Plus carbon-ceramic system, which uses long carbon fibers in a carbon matrix with a coating designed to extend disc and pad durability. The system is paired with organic racing brake pads and a ventilation system that lowers operating temperatures under load.
Bridgestone, Lamborghini’s technical partner, has developed bespoke Potenza Sport tires sized 265/30 ZRF21 front and 355/25 ZRF22 rear, with a Run-Flat Technology option. A semi-slick, road-homologated track tire is offered alongside the road fitment. Bridgestone reports its Virtual Tire Development process can cut raw material consumption and CO2 emissions during development by up to 60 percent.
Pricing and Positioning
Lamborghini did not disclose pricing for the Fenomeno Roadster in its release. Reporting on the launch has placed the figure in the low single-digit millions of euros, with all 15 units understood to have been pre-sold ahead of the public reveal. At the May 11, 2026 EUR/USD rate of 1.1785 (Trading Economics), a €5 million indicative figure converts to roughly $5.9 million, though the company has not confirmed any pricing.
The Roadster joins the Fenomeno Coupé (29 units, unveiled August 2025) in Lamborghini’s Few-Off line. The lineage includes the Reventón (2007) and Reventón Roadster (2009), Veneno (2013) and Veneno Roadster, Centenario (2016) and Centenario Roadster, and Sián (2019) and Sián Roadster. Stephan Winkelmann, President and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini, said: “Fenomeno Roadster represents the purest expression of our brand values: visionary design, uncompromising performance, and absolute exclusivity.”
