Mullen Automotive Inc. is undergoing a significant rebranding, announcing plans to change its name to Bollinger Innovations, Inc. In line with this strategic shift, the company has received NASDAQ approval for a new stock ticker symbol, BINI. The effective date for these changes has not yet been announced.

This name change reflects a strategic consolidation of the Mullen and Bollinger brands, aiming to streamline operations and focus on the commercial electric vehicle (EV) market. “The new branded consolidated Company continues to move forward full steam ahead with a solid product offering around Commercial Class 1, 3 and 4,” stated David Michery, CEO and chairman of both entities.
A key part of this rebranding is the transformation of the company’s Commercial Vehicle Center in Oceanside, California. Opening on August 15, 2025, the Bollinger Innovations center is strategically located off Interstate 5 in San Diego County. This location provides convenient access for businesses throughout the region to test drive, purchase, and service the company’s growing lineup of commercial EVs.

Bollinger Innovations offers a range of commercial EVs designed to meet the demands of modern fleets, particularly in urban and last-mile delivery sectors.
- Mullen ONE: A Class 1 EV cargo van designed for the needs of last-mile delivery.
- Mullen THREE: A Class 3 EV cab chassis truck offering versatility for various commercial applications.
- Bollinger B4 Chassis Cab: A formidable Class 4 all-electric truck. It boasts a payload capacity of 7,325 pounds, a 185-mile range, and a tight 46-foot turning radius, making it ideal for city operations. Its unique Quad-Bend chassis is engineered to protect the 158-kWh battery pack, enhancing safety and durability.
Both the Mullen ONE and Mullen THREE have received certifications from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the California Air Resources Board (CARB), ensuring compliance with stringent clean air standards.
Manufacturing and Market Presence
The company’s commercial vehicles are manufactured at its 120,000-square-foot facility in Tunica, Mississippi, where production began in August 2023. Mullen Automotive acquired a majority stake in Michigan-based Bollinger Motors in September 2022, combining their expertise in the EV sector.
Bollinger Innovations has established a strong market presence through a growing dealer network. With partners like Papé Kenworth, Pritchard EV, and National Auto Fleet Group, the company has sales and service coverage across key markets on the West Coast, in the Midwest, Pacific Northwest, New England, and the Mid-Atlantic.
