Paired Power has partnered with California American Water to provide a resilient microgrid electric vehicle (EV) charging solution in San Diego, California. The installation of Paired Power’s solar EV charger, PairTree™, aligns with California American Water’s disaster-preparedness initiatives and commitment to California’s emission reduction goals. This partnership enhances public health, environmental safety, and supports the transition to sustainable energy.

California American Water’s investment in EV infrastructure highlights its dedication to both environmental protection and public health. According to the EPA’s emission rates calculator, using PairTree to charge one vehicle will prevent 4,472 pounds of CO2 from being emitted annually, equivalent to the weight of a Tesla Model Y.

The charger is wind-rated up to 130 mph, making it suitable for regions with unpredictable weather patterns.
