Polestar has expanded its charging options, now providing access to 17,800 Tesla Superchargers across North America. This complements its existing network in Europe and China, enhancing convenience for Polestar electric vehicle users.

Key Highlights:

  • 17,800 Tesla Superchargers now available for North American customers.
  • Future models in North America will feature the NACS inlet as standard.
  • Access to over 850,000 charging points across Europe, including Tesla Superchargers.

Future Polestar models sold in North America will be equipped with the NACS inlet as standard, simplifying compatibility with Tesla’s charging network. For current Polestar owners, a NACS adapter is available through local Polestar Service Centers. Additionally, the in-car Google Maps system will be updated to feature all accessible NACS charging stations, streamlining route planning for users.

In Europe, Polestar Charge already provides customers with access to one of the region’s largest charging networks, comprising over 850,000 charging points. This includes more than 20,000 Tesla Superchargers and covers other key networks like IONITY, Recharge, Total, Fastned, and Allego. Meanwhile, Polestar customers in China also benefit from seamless access to Tesla Superchargers, spanning over 200 cities.

Polestar CEO Michael Lohscheller highlighted the significance of this infrastructure expansion, saying, “Our access to global charging infrastructure is a key differentiator for Polestar. Through our partnerships with charging providers, we offer our customers a convenient and unique charging experience: accessible, fast, easy to use and at a competitive price.”
