Highlights
- Plug & Charge now active at 27,500+ Tesla Superchargers across North America for Macan Electric and 2026 Taycan models
- Cayenne Electric will receive the feature when it launches in Canada later this year
- Electrify Canada stations also support Plug & Charge through Porsche Charging Service
- Complimentary NACS/CCS DC adapters included for Taycan and Macan Electric owners
How Plug & Charge Works
Plug & Charge technology automates the authentication and payment process at compatible charging stations. Active Porsche Charging Service members can initiate a charging session by simply connecting the cable—no app interaction or credit card required. The system maintains secure, encrypted transactions throughout.

Expanded Charging Ecosystem
Over the past year, Porsche has broadened its charging infrastructure support for EV customers. The Porsche Charging Service now includes software updates for Taycan and Macan Electric models alongside the complimentary NACS/CCS DC adapters.
“This marks significant progress with regards to convenience for our EV customers,” said Trevor Arthur, President and CEO of Porsche Cars Canada. “Increasing Plug & Charge access makes charging simpler and more user-friendly, moving us closer to a seamless electric vehicle experience.”
