Presto and bp pulse announced a US collaboration on May 19, 2026 that opens bp pulse’s DC fast-charging network to fleet, rideshare, and commercial drivers using the Presto roaming app. The two companies said the integration lets Presto users locate bp pulse sites, see real-time charger availability, and start sessions from within the app, according to a release distributed by Presto. The arrangement folds bp pulse’s flagship Hub locations — including sites near Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and Chicago O’Hare (ORD) — into Presto’s fleet-focused platform.
Highlights
- Presto users gain in-app access to bp pulse DC fast chargers across the US, with real-time availability and session initiation
- bp pulse’s high-capacity Hub sites near LAX and ORD are included in the integration
- Presto’s fleet base spans rideshare, rental car, last-mile delivery, and commercial operators
- bp pulse operates more than 41,000 charge points globally and lists the US as one of four key markets
What the Integration Does
Drivers using Presto can find bp pulse sites in the app, check whether a charger is free, and start a session without switching platforms. Presto positions the workflow as a way for fleets to cut downtime and consolidate payment and reporting across networks. For bp pulse, the connection routes Presto’s fleet customers — who tend to charge often and predictably — toward sites that benefit from higher utilization.
The companies framed the deal as particularly relevant for high-mileage drivers who depend on consistent access to fast charging. bp pulse’s airport-adjacent Hubs near LAX and ORD are designed for that profile, with site density and charger capacity tuned to commercial-driver duty cycles.
Executive Comments
“Reliable, fast charging is essential for commercial drivers and fleets who depend on predictable uptime,” said Sujay Sharma, CEO of bp pulse Americas. “By integrating bp pulse’s growing US ultra-fast charging network with Presto’s platform, we’re helping to make it easier for EV drivers to find and access charging where and when they need it—supporting efficiency today as electrification continues to scale.”
“We’re thrilled to be working with bp pulse to deliver a seamless charging experience to our fleet partners,” said JJ Raynor, Presto CFO and Co-founder. “bp pulse’s network strength, combined with Presto’s fleet relationships and technology platform, creates meaningful value for both fleets and charging site operators.”
The Companies
Presto operates a roaming platform that lets fleets — including rideshare, rental car, last-mile delivery, and commercial operators — find, charge, and pay across multiple charging networks through a single mobile app or API integration. The platform’s value proposition centers on aggregating fragmented public-charging coverage into one driver-facing experience.
bp pulse is bp’s EV charging business, with more than 41,000 charge points globally and operations in four key markets. In the US, the company combines standalone Hub sites with charger deployments across bp’s retail footprint of roughly 8,000 locations in 46 states.
The Presto integration adds to a pattern of bp pulse network-access deals and to Presto’s growing roster of network partners, which already includes Blink Charging and others brought into the platform over the past year. It also adds a software-side distribution channel on top of bp pulse’s physical-network buildout, exemplified by sites like its 48-bay LAX Hub.
