From Concept to Production
The Vision 7S concept, unveiled in spring 2022, established Škoda’s Modern Solid design language and signaled the brand’s future direction. That concept emphasized sustainability, functional design, and advanced technology while previewing an all-electric seven-seater production model.
The Peaq represents the production realization of that vision. Škoda developed the vehicle with a focus on the brand’s core values: spaciousness, practicality, and comfort.
Strategic Positioning
Martin Jahn, Škoda Auto Board Member for Sales and Marketing, addressed the naming strategy.
“With the Vision 7S, we entered new territory for Škoda, with a clear idea of how to elevate the brand,” Jahn stated. “Our new flagship model takes our brand values of spaciousness and practicality to a whole new level.”
The Peaq name functions as a direct statement about the model’s portfolio position, serving as the flagship of Škoda’s expanding electric lineup.
Interior and Design Philosophy
The seven-seat interior configuration targets multiple use cases. Škoda designed the cabin to accommodate families while also appealing to individuals who require flexibility for combining work and leisure activities.
User-friendliness and Škoda’s Simply Clever solutions remain central to the vehicle’s design approach. The Peaq marks another expansion milestone for Škoda’s electric model range, which currently includes the Enyaq and Enyaq Coupé.
