VOLTERRA Motors Unveils All-Electric Dirt Bikes for Younger Riders with Cutting-Edge Features

NEW YORK – US-based all-electric powersports vehicle manufacturer, VOLTERRA Motors, has announced key features of two new products in its electric powersports line-up, the DTFe-50 and DTFe-110. The bikes are designed to provide a green alternative for younger riders and offer up to 50% more acceleration than traditional combustion bikes. The DTFe-50 has a low 24-inch seat height, 10-inch wheels, an adjustable speed of up to 19mph, and a range of up to 50 miles. The DTFe-110 features a 14-inch front wheel, 12-inch back wheel, a top speed of up to 25mph, and a range of 50 miles.

Both bikes come fully equipped with VOLTERRA’s cutting-edge technology, including Bluetooth connectivity and swappable lithium-ion batteries, and the VOLTERRAPP, which provides parents with full control over speed, acceleration, time limits, and password lock. The bikes are also equipped with hydraulic disc brakes, safety position lights, and no clutch or gears to prevent stalling.

Production for the DTFe-50 and DTFe-110 is expected to begin in the second half of 2023. According to Jose Villegas, CEO of VOLTERRA, the company aims to provide safe, fun, easy, and green alternatives for younger riders and their families, highlighting the limited options currently available in the powersports space for young riders.

The DTFe-50 is designed for new, young riders and offers lower speeds and connectivity features to provide peace of mind for parents. The DTFe-110 is for slightly more advanced riders, with bigger tires, higher top speeds, and larger battery capacity, while still offering key safety features and connectivity capabilities.
