Major Upgrades for the Flagship EX90

The 2026 Volvo EX90 will feature a new 800-volt electrical architecture, enabling significantly faster and more efficient charging. This system can add up to 155 miles of range in just 10 minutes at a compatible charging station. Every EX90 will also be equipped with a more powerful dual NVIDIA DRIVE AGX Orin-based core computer, enhancing advanced safety and driver-assist features with 500 TOPS of computing power. Owners of the 2025 EX90 will also receive this computer upgrade at no charge.

New safety capabilities include connected alerts for slippery roads and hazards, expanded automatic emergency steering in darkness, and an Emergency Stop Assist feature. Powertrain options are also expanding with the addition of the EX90 Single Motor. The Twin Motor and Twin Motor Performance models receive power boosts, with the 2026 EX90 Twin Motor Performance now the most powerful Volvo ever offered at 670-hp.

Additional luxury options for the 2025 World Luxury Car of the Year winner include an available electrochromic panoramic roof with adjustable tint and new ventilated Nappa leather upholstery.

EX30 Single Motor Arrives Stateside

Following last year’s introduction of the EX30 Twin Motor Performance, Volvo is now adding the EX30 Single Motor to its U.S. lineup. Offered at the Plus equipment level with a starting MSRP of $38,950, this model makes fully electric mobility and Volvo’s renowned safety more accessible. The Single Motor version provides an EPA-estimated range of up to 261 miles and can charge from 10 to 80 percent in 28 minutes.

As Volvo’s smallest SUV, the EX30 was designed with a minimal carbon footprint across its lifecycle, featuring zero tailpipe emissions and an interior crafted from recycled and renewable materials. The model has already earned several awards, including the 2024 World Urban Car of the Year.

Volvo is introducing the fully electric EX30 Cross Country, a versatile version of its smallest SUV built for adventure. Distinctive design details, including chunky skid plates and extended wheel arches, highlight its rugged character. The EX30 Cross Country will be available as a Twin Motor Ultra model, with a starting MSRP of $48,150.

Black Edition

EX40 Gains Black Edition Option

The popular Black Edition styling option is now available on the EX40, making it the first fully electric Volvo in the U.S. to receive this treatment. Previously offered on the plug-in hybrid XC60, the Black Edition can be paired with several exterior colors for either a high-contrast or monochrome look.
