2025 Cadillac OPTIQ Unveiled

The 2025 Cadillac OPTIQ, Cadillac’s latest entry into the electric vehicle (EV) market, promises a blend of luxury and innovation. This new model is set to become a cornerstone of Cadillac’s EV lineup, boasting a range of features designed to attract the next generation of EV buyers.

Key Highlights:

  • 300 miles of estimated range
  • Standard dual motor all-wheel drive
  • Standard Super Cruise with a 3-year connected service
  • Segment-best cargo capacity and second-row spaciousness
  • Innovative and bold design, both interior and exterior

Performance and Design

The OPTIQ features a standard dual motor all-wheel drive system, delivering a dynamic and athletic driving experience. With a shorter wheelbase than the LYRIQ, it offers agility and a spirited performance, supported by the Ultium Platform. The aerodynamic design, including a vented rear spoiler and diffusers, contributes to an estimated 300-mile range.

“Cadillac has always defined American luxury, and OPTIQ is an example of how our bold, innovative spirit is propelling us into the EV future,” said John Roth, Vice President, Global Cadillac.

The OPTIQ’s 85-kilowatt-hour battery pack provides an estimated 300 horsepower and 354 lb-ft of instant torque. It supports DC fast charging, adding up to 79 miles of range in about 10 minutes. The vehicle includes Regen On Demand and One-Pedal Driving features, enhancing efficiency and driving experience. The Dual-Level Charge Cord allows flexibility in charging options.

Innovative Interior

The OPTIQ’s interior combines luxury and technology, featuring a 33-inch diagonal advanced LED display with 9k resolution, and standard Super Cruise driver assistance technology. Innovative materials, including recycled content in patterned accent fabrics and PaperWood veneer, highlight Cadillac’s commitment to sustainability. The OPTIQ also offers best-in-segment cargo capacity and spaciousness.

“OPTIQ’s bold design leverages the Cadillac standard for luxury while remaining youthful, sporty and innovative,” said Bryan Nesbitt, Executive Director, Cadillac Design.

Advanced Technology and Safety

The OPTIQ is equipped with Google built-in compatibility for an enhanced infotainment experience and a standard 19-speaker AKG Audio System with Dolby Atmos®. Safety features include adaptive cruise control, Blind Zone Steering Assist, and Enhanced Automatic Parking.

Trims and Pricing

The OPTIQ will be available in two trims: Luxury and Sport, with pricing starting at an estimated $54,000. Production is set to begin late this fall.
