Acura’s Electrified Future: The 2024 ZDX

In an exciting development for electric vehicle enthusiasts and Acura fans alike, Acura has announced the pricing for its first all-electric model, the 2024 Acura ZDX, with a starting Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of $64,500. This marks a significant milestone in the brand’s journey towards an electrified future. The ZDX, featuring exceptional equipment and a single-motor (rear-wheel-drive) powertrain, is set to arrive at dealerships in early spring 2024.

The ZDX’s high-performance counterpart, the ZDX Type S, stands out as Acura’s most powerful SUV to date. It boasts a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system and starts at an MSRP of $73,500. This price does not yet account for potential government incentives or tax credits.

Acura introduces a new, omni-channel digital sales process for all ZDX sales, offering a seamless and intuitive shopping experience, whether online or at a dealership. Customers can now reserve their ZDX at www.acura.com/reservezdx. Additionally, those who reserve a ZDX will receive an exclusive Acura Energy Key Card, providing benefits like discounts to Acura entertainment partners and special events.

Emile Korkor, Assistant Vice President of Acura National Sales, emphasized the significance of the ZDX’s launch, stating, “The arrival of the all-electric Acura ZDX demonstrates our commitment to a zero-emissions future, but more than that it represents our passion for performance in the electrified era.”

The 2024 ZDX is a testament to Acura’s commitment to cutting-edge technology and connectivity. It boasts the first integration of Google built-in, along with standard wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto™ capabilities. The ZDX is also the first Acura model to feature the Bang & Olufsen luxury audio system, a feature set to expand across Acura’s entire lineup.

Power and Performance of the ZDX

The ZDX is a performance SUV built on a state-of-the-art electric vehicle platform. It offers a balance of power and refinement, with the rear-wheel-drive ZDX A-Spec producing 340 horsepower. The model also offers a more potent dual-motor, all-wheel-drive option. The vehicle’s multi-link front and rear suspension is finely tuned for an exhilarating performance and class-leading refinement.

Rapid recharging is achievable with the ZDX’s DC Fast Charging capability, allowing an estimated 81 miles of range to be added in approximately 10 minutes.

ZDX Type S: A New Level of Performance

The ZDX Type S elevates the driving experience, balancing acceleration, braking, and turning without compromising comfort or drivability. It defines Acura’s performance in the electrified era with an estimated 500 horsepower and features such as a height-adjustable air suspension and performance-tuned adaptive dampers.

Comprehensive Charging Solutions

Acura offers ZDX customers various charging solutions, including access to major public fast charging networks. Every purchase or lease of a new ZDX or ZDX Type S includes one of three charging packages, further enhancing the vehicle’s convenience and appeal.
