Automobili Pininfarina has made history with the delivery of the world’s first coach-built electric hypercar, the Battista Targamerica, to a client. This unique vehicle debuted at The Quail, A Motorsport Gathering, during Monterey Car Week. The Battista Targamerica exemplifies Automobili Pininfarina’s philosophy of “Dream Cars. Made Real.” Hand-built and fully personalized, this hypercar represents a new frontier in luxury, performance, and bespoke design.

The Battista Targamerica showcases the exceptional craftsmanship of Automobili Pininfarina’s artisans. Commissioned by a renowned car collector, the design team collaborated closely with the client to create a truly one-off vehicle. Every aspect of the car, from its striking silver and blue color scheme to the bespoke cigar humidor integrated into the cabin, reflects the client’s personality and lifestyle.

The vehicle’s name, Battista Targamerica, was co-curated with the client, symbolizing its roofless body style and American roots. The hypercar’s design was further influenced by Pininfarina’s 1986 Ferrari Testarossa Spider, known for its elegance and simplicity. The Battista Targamerica not only echoes this classic design but also introduces modern luxury and technology, making it a masterpiece of both art and engineering.
Inside, the vehicle boasts tan leather upholstery, a bespoke luggage set, and custom features, ensuring that the car is as practical as it is beautiful. The hypercar’s four independent electric motors and 120kWh lithium-ion battery provide unprecedented performance, reinforcing its position as Italy’s most powerful road-legal car.
