British EV powertrain specialist Electrogenic has expanded its UK installer network with two new partners. The Mini Restoration Company and Devon-based Moorland Rovers will now offer the Oxford firm’s drop-in electric conversion kits for classic vehicles.

New Partners Bring Specialist Expertise
The Mini Restoration Company, founded in 2014, specializes in restoring and customizing the original Mini. The company will install Electrogenic’s Mini EV kits for customers.
Moorland Rovers, based on Dartmoor, focuses on Land Rover Defender restoration and custom builds. The team serves customers in both the UK and the USA. Moorland Rovers will install the full range of Electrogenic’s Land Rover Defender and Series kits.
Steve Drummond, Electrogenic co-founder, said both partners share a commitment to preserving automotive heritage while adopting electrification. He noted that The Mini Restoration Company’s focus on quality workmanship and Moorland Rovers’ reputation for Defender builds make them strong additions to the network.
The two firms join a global installer network spanning the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and Europe.

Drop-In Kit Range and Specifications
Electrogenic’s kits are available for several popular classic models:
- Original Mini
- Classic Porsche 911
- Land Rover Defender and Series models
- DeLorean DMC-12
- Jaguar E-Type (XKE)
- Mazda MX-5 (Miata)
Each kit is designed to fit within a vehicle’s existing architecture. No cutting or drilling is required, and all conversions are fully reversible. A trained mechanic can complete installation using the plug-and-play design.

Technical Features
Electrogenic develops all hardware and software in-house at its UK facility. Key technical elements include:

- Digital dashboards with Sport, Eco, and Traffic driving modes
