Exicom, India’s largest EV charger manufacturer, announced the acquisition of Tritium, a global leader in DC Fast Chargers. This strategic move is set to enhance Exicom’s global footprint and drive innovation in the EV charging industry.

Founded in 2001, Tritium designs and manufactures advanced liquid-cooled DC Fast Chargers, recognized for their durability and aesthetic appeal. Their engineering simplifies installation, ownership, and usage, making them a leading industry brand.

With this landmark acquisition, Exicom is set to enhance its global reach, adding Tritium’s facilities in the USA and Australia to its existing presence in Asia. This expansion underscores Exicom’s commitment to research and development, driving innovation in the EV charging industry. According to BloombergNEF’s ‘Economic Transition Scenario,’ EVs are expected to reach 45 percent of global passenger-vehicle sales by 2030 and 73 percent by 2040.
