- The EX2 features a comprehensive battery and structural safety system, including a high-strength cage body and real-time temperature monitoring.
- Geely will utilize a manufacturing agreement with Renault do Brasil to produce low-emission vehicles locally at the Ayrton Senna plant.

Brazil Launch and B-Segment Strategy
The Brazil launch positions the EX2 for expansion into the global B-segment. Geely aims to establish new standards for urban electric mobility with this model, focusing on safety, technology, and spatial efficiency.
Vehicle Specifications and Safety Systems
The EX2 is built on Geely’s GEA architecture. It measures 4,135 mm in length, 1,805 mm in width, and 1,580 mm in height. Its 2,650 mm wheelbase is designed to balance agile handling with interior cabin space.
Geely states the vehicle sets a safety benchmark for city cars, centered on battery protection and structural integrity.
Integrated Safety Features
- Geely Battery Safety System
- Real-time temperature monitoring
- Optimized high-strength structure
The vehicle’s structural safety utilizes reinforced cabin construction. This includes a cage body, a #-shaped rear subframe, and a tri-directional energy-absorbing structure to manage impacts.

Market Performance and History
The EX2 previously debuted overseas at the 2024 Automechanika Frankfurt, signaling its global ambitions.
In its home market of China, the vehicle is branded as the “Xingyuan.” It achieved significant sales milestones in 2025.
2025 China Sales Data

- Second best-selling BEV worldwide (Aug 2025)
- Fastest model to exceed 400,000 sales (Sep 2025)
Global and Local Manufacturing Plans
The EX2 follows the Geely EX5 in Brazil, which launched in August 2025 and has reportedly become a best-seller in its segment.
Geely’s presence in Brazil is supported by a manufacturing agreement with Renault. Renault do Brasil will produce Geely-branded zero and low-emission vehicles at the Ayrton Senna plant.
