Genesis has announced that its first high-performance model, the GV60 Magma, has completed the last stages of a rigorous global evaluation program. Proven in Extreme Conditions Worldwide
The GV60 Magma’s development journey began in the formidable winter conditions of Arjeplog, Sweden. It later moved to the searing heat of the California Proving Ground, where engineers validated power output, cooling efficiency, and thermal protection.
Testing continued at the Southern Hemisphere Proving Ground in New Zealand, where the vehicle faced sub-zero temperatures at altitudes of 1,500 meters. These evaluations focused on chassis precision, traction stability, braking robustness, and agile cornering on icy terrain. This comprehensive process ensures the GV60 Magma delivers unwavering stability and ride comfort in any condition.
Final assessments were conducted in Korea, involving drives from the Namyang R&D Center to Chuncheon and intensive laps at the Inje Speedium Circuit. Engineers evaluated the car’s performance on highways, mountainous roads, congested urban streets, and racetrack environments to ensure it adapts seamlessly to diverse driving conditions.
