GreenPower Motor Company, a leader in all-electric, zero-emission vehicles, announced the delivery of five Type D BEAST school buses to two California school districts. These deliveries highlight the growing demand for GreenPower’s purpose-built, eco-friendly transportation solutions.

- GreenPower delivers five BEAST school buses to California schools: Four buses are allocated to Cutler-Orosi Joint Unified School District, and one to Terra Bella Union Elementary School District.
- BEAST school buses are all-electric, zero-emission, and purpose-built: Designed for safety and efficiency, they cater to the specific transportation needs of school districts.
- Continued deliveries planned: GreenPower expects to deliver more BEAST buses to California and Oregon schools in the coming weeks.
- Eligible for California HVIP vouchers and ZESBI grants: These buses qualify for state incentives and infrastructure support, promoting the adoption of zero-emission vehicles.

GreenPower’s Type D BEAST is a 40-foot, all-electric school bus that seats up to 90 students. It features a high-strength steel chassis, an integrated aluminum body, and advanced safety measures such as a flat floor design and high floors to keep students out of crash zones. The BEAST is equipped with dual port charging and supports both Level 2 and DC Fast Charging, with optional wireless charging available.
In addition to these deliveries, GreenPower plans to supply up to 20 more BEAST buses in California over the next 90 to 120 days, further supporting the state’s push towards zero-emission transportation in schools.
