The Phoenix Elementary School District, serving a diverse body of approximately 5,000 students across 15 schools, has embraced the BEAST as a major step forward in its commitment to providing safe and sustainable transportation. “Children are more susceptible to air pollution due to their developing respiratory systems and all-electric school buses reduce exposure to NOx produced by traditional buses which can adversely affect student’s health and academic performance,” remarked Dr. Deborah Gonzalez, Superintendent of the District.
