The Honda 0 SUV Prototype made its global public debut at the Red Bull Showrun x Powered by Honda event in Tokyo, Japan, with Formula 1 World Champion Max Verstappen driving the all-electric vehicle. This SUV is a key part of the Honda 0 Series, a new line of electric vehicles set to begin production in 2026 at the Honda EV Hub in Ohio. The event, held before the Japanese Grand Prix at Suzuka Circuit, celebrated the six-year partnership between Honda and Red Bull Racing, which has delivered over 63 F1 victories and multiple championships.

Honda 0 SUV Prototype Unveiled Globally

Alongside Verstappen, F1 drivers Yuki Tsunoda, Liam Lawson, and Isack Hadjar participated, showcasing Honda’s motorsport legacy. The event displayed iconic Honda F1 cars, including the RA272, which won the 1965 Mexico Grand Prix, and the RB16B, reflecting Honda’s modern F1 dominance. The Honda 0 SUV sported a unique wrap with geometric lines, symbolizing its “Thin, Light, and Wise” development approach.

This philosophy shapes the Honda 0 SUV, offering a spacious cabin, excellent visibility, and advanced features like the ASIMO OS, a digital system for a personalized user experience. First unveiled at CES 2025, the SUV builds on Honda’s dedicated EV architecture. Production will start in 2026 at the Ohio EV Hub, with sales beginning in North America, followed by Japan and Europe.
