Honda has confirmed the revival of an iconic nameplate with the upcoming 2026 Prelude. This new grand touring sports coupe is set to blend legendary performance engineering with advanced hybrid technology. In a significant move, Honda will equip the new Prelude with the sophisticated suspension, wide front and rear tracks, and Brembo front brakes directly from the Civic Type R.3 A key component of this is the dual-axis front suspension, a design previously exclusive to the Type R line since its 2017 introduction.4 This architecture is renowned for its ability to deliver precise handling and steering feel.
