A Darker Take on Canada’s Best-Selling SUV
The Night Edition applies a uniform darkened treatment across the Tucson. Exterior changes include blacked-out front and rear accents, exclusive 19-inch alloy wheels, black mirror caps, window trim, and badging. Inside, a black cloth headliner carries the theme into the cabin.
Buyers can choose from four exterior colors: Ash Black, Crystal White, Ecotronic Grey, and Shimmering Silver.
“Canadian customers continue to show strong interest in distinctive, design-forward SUVs that also deliver everyday efficiency,” said Fabio Cappella, director of product and corporate strategy at Hyundai Auto Canada. “The Tucson Hybrid Night Edition brings a new level of visual expression to our best-selling SUV, while reinforcing our commitment to electrified powertrains as a premium offering within the lineup.”
Hybrid Powertrain and Pricing
Beneath the styling, the Night Edition uses the Tucson Hybrid’s 1.6-liter turbocharged engine. Hyundai rates the system at 231 horsepower and 271 lb-ft of torque, with combined fuel consumption of approximately 35 mpg (6.7 L/100 km).
At $42,799 CAD (about US$30,600), the Night Edition becomes the most affordable Tucson Hybrid for the 2026 model year in Canada. It builds on the well-equipped Preferred trim with the Trend package, which the company says reinforces its approach of positioning hybrid powertrains as a premium choice within the Tucson lineup. The trim adds to Hyundai’s hybrid lineup, led in Canada by the top-selling Tucson.
The 2026 Tucson Hybrid Night Edition is available now at Hyundai dealerships across Canada.
