Hyundai Motor Company has solidified its reputation in high-performance electric vehicles with the IONIQ 5 N TA Spec setting the fastest EV lap time at the Attack Tsukuba 2025 motorsport event. Renowned Japanese driver Nobuteru Taniguchi piloted the vehicle to a record-breaking 57.446 seconds, reinforcing Hyundai’s technological leadership in EV performance.

The IONIQ 5 N TA Spec is engineered to showcase the capabilities of Hyundai’s production EVs with minimal modifications. Despite its enhanced performance, the vehicle retains critical systems such as its motors, battery, and control electronics from the production-spec IONIQ 5 N.
