The 2025 Wrangler 4xe Willys ’41 evokes the spirit of the original Willys MB with its olive drab exterior and exclusive decals. The WILLYS / 4XE hood-side decals, finished in Drab Blue, replicate the authentic stenciling style used by the U.S. Army on the original Willys MB during World War II. These decals capture the rugged utilitarian aesthetic that continues to define Jeep’s legacy today. Additional Army-inspired decals further highlight the homage to Jeep’s heritage.
The unique interior of the Wrangler 4xe Willys ’41 features tan Heritage cloth seats, a drab fabric dashboard insert, and a ’41 shifter medallion. For added versatility, buyers can choose from a body-color hardtop, Sky One-touch powertop roof, or an exclusive tan soft-top. Built for off-road enthusiasts, the special edition comes equipped with a standard rear locker for traction and front and rear steel bumpers for extra durability.
From Go Devil to Green Machine
The Wrangler 4xe is the best-selling plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) in the United States for three consecutive years. Its advanced powertrain blends a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine, two electric motors, and a high-voltage battery pack, achieving 49 MPGe and 21 miles of electric-only range. This showcases the 80-plus-year journey of Jeep from the original “Go Devil” engines to today’s electrified 4xe system. Jeep’s global electrification initiative is reshaping 4xe into the new 4×4, transforming the brand’s off-road experience.
Orders Now Open
The 2025 Jeep Wrangler 4xe Willys ’41 special edition is priced at $59,930 (excluding destination charge) and is now available for order in the U.S. It will be showcased in Jeep dealerships before the end of the year, alongside the full 2025 Jeep Wrangler lineup.
The Iconic Heritage of Jeep
The original Willys MB, which began production in 1941, became an enduring symbol of versatility and resilience during World War II. Developed as a light reconnaissance vehicle, the Jeep quickly gained legendary status for its off-road capability and dependable performance. Between 1941 and 1945, nearly 360,000 Jeep vehicles were produced by Willys-Overland in Toledo, Ohio. The legacy of the Willys MB carried forward into the first civilian Jeep, the CJ-2A, and continues to live on in the modern Jeep lineup.
Jeep’s Electrified Future
Building on more than 80 years of heritage, the Jeep brand now aims to deliver electrified options for its entire lineup in North America by 2025. Through its Jeep Wave program, the brand offers a premium loyalty experience, complete with exclusive perks and 24/7 support. Jeep’s focus on electrification ensures that the 4xe platform will continue to offer the iconic off-road capability that has defined the brand for decades, all while adapting to modern needs for sustainability and efficiency.
